In line with MAX Texas’ commitment to finding diverse ways to give back to our community, MAX Gives Back for March 2024 visited Nora’s Home to meal prep and play games with patients and their families \u2014 it was a wonderful opportunity to connect and give back.<\/p>\n

About Nora\u2019s Home<\/h2>\n

In 1998, Doctors Osama and Lillian Gaber established Nora\u2019s Gift Foundation in memory of their daughter Nora, who lost her life in a tragic automobile accident at the age of seven. Nora\u2019s legacy did not end with her death. Her organ donations helped several critically ill children and fueled the creation of Nora\u2019s Home, an enduring gift to those in need.<\/p>\n

In honor of Nora, whose life was characterized by her compassion and concern for others, Nora\u2019s Home aims to improve the outcome and quality of life for patients suffering end-stage organ failure, individuals undergoing transplantation, and these patients\u2019 families, thus aligning with Nora\u2019s Gift Foundation\u2019s central intentions to:<\/p>\n
