The Professional Excellence Award recognizes a Muslim who has demonstrated significant achievement, leadership, and made a positive impact in their community.

Eligibility Criteria

A nominee must:

The nominee must be a self-identified Muslim, and Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Has demonstrated significant achievement and leadership in a professional domain and community initiatives.
Strives to elevate the Muslim brand by promoting a positive image of Muslims and the Muslim Community in Canada.
Has demonstrated commitment to serving his/her community through volunteerism, charitable giving, or other activities.
Recognizes an individual who apply their expertise to the objectives of their organization and the people they lead.

Mentorship

MAX Mentors is a professional mentorship program that connects near-career students with early career mentors and early career professionals with mid-career mentors to catalyze excellence amongst the Texas Muslim community and help a new generation break glass ceilings.

Through networking, our communities gain access to mentorship, career opportunities, and platforms to amplify our voices. This pillar only accelerates personal development but also facilitates the exchange of knowledge and resources, ultimately leading to more inclusive and vibrant societies.

Our community initiatives aim to bridge connections, foster understanding, and uplift communities. Through events, workshops, and collaborative projects, we empower both our members and the communities we serve.

MAX Gala

The MAX Gala is an incredible night of celebration that offers a rare glimpse into the skills, talents, and cultural strengths of a dynamic community of patriotic Texas Muslims, whose continued efforts help build a strong workforce, energize the economy, and expand our combined cultural horizons. It represents the culmination of the efforts of hundreds of volunteers across a plethora of teams at MAX.
