The MAX Executive Leadership Series: A Journey of Growth and Transformation for Muslim Professionals to reach the Executive or Partner ranks

The MAX Executive Leadership Series invites you to embark on a transformative journey designed to empower accomplished Muslim professionals in their respective industries. Focusing on the Financial Services industry for the inaugral year, this immersive program is crafted for individuals with around 12 years of industry experience tapping on the door of the C-Suite or Partner level ranks; providing a unique platform for growth, knowledge sharing, and community building.

Embrace a Path of Continuous Learning:

This series transcends traditional leadership training. It delves into the nuanced challenges and opportunities facing Muslim leaders in today’s financial services industry landscape. Through interactive modules, insightful discussions, and expert guidance, participants will:

  • Develop Executive Communication and presence (Monday, Apr 14, 2025)
  • Understand how to Manage their Brand (Wednesday, May 21, 2025)
  • Learn how to Manage Stakeholders Upwards & Downwards (Wednesday, Jun 18, 2025)
  • Develop proficiency in Building Teams (Monday, Sep 15, 2025)
  • Become adept at Establishing their Network (Wednesday, Oct 8, 2025)
  • Hone their skills through the Art of Persuasion (Wednesday, Nov 12, 2025)

Program cost: Applicants successful in the selection process will have to e-transfer a non-refundable fee of $299 CAD (inclusive of taxes) to secure their seat in the program. This fee will cover the cost of all six modules including programming, operations, food and venue.

Selection Criteria:

  • Muslim-identifying individuals with 12+ years of experience who are steps away from landing an Executive leadership role (i.e. within 5 years of executive leadership/C-suite or Partner) in the financial services industry.
  • At least 5 years experience in a leadership/people manager role with exposure to Senior Executives (C-level executives or Partners).
  • Experience leading a complex multi-mandate and/or large team (s).
  • Optional: A recommendation from a current C-suite executive, Senior Vice President (SVP), or Executive Vice President (EVP) within the organization will enhance your application.

All sessions will feature distinguished panelists from the Financial Services industry; with extensive expertise in navigating complex market landscapes, leading transformational initiatives, and shaping the future, these leaders bring invaluable insights on executive leadership.

In each module, you will gain invaluable insights from a panel of three accomplished executives and partners, who will share their personal journeys, challenges overcome, and lessons learned on their path to leadership.
