MAX is committed to diversity and recognizes the multivalence of identities that make up the Muslim community including race, gender, and persons with a disability.
BridgeTO Youth is a not-for-profit organization that supports youth in low-income communities, who face specific socio-economic barriers that impact their chances of graduating from high school and pursuing post-secondary opportunities. The majority of BridgeTO Youth belong to visible minorities and newcomer families.
The objective of BridgeTO Youth is to promote education and social integration of low-income and underserved youth across the GTA and Hamilton Regions for youth in Grades 11, 12, and first year of post-secondary education through free tutoring, mentorship, and unique career-related events in a safe and inclusive environment that will help shape their future.
MAX’s partnership with BridgeTO Youth complements BridgeTO’s mission to bridge the gap to success by providing an enriching learning experience outside of the classroom. Through special access to multiple professional development events at MAX, students gain access to a network of seasoned professionals and mentors leading to an enriched learning experience outside of the classroom.
